Upside Down with SIP #43

Newspaper

My card was made for a friend that is retiring after a 20-year military career.  He had planned on taking some time off to travel and do whatever he wanted.  However, his skill set is highly sought after and employers are already enticing him with possible employment offers.  What to do, what to do! LOL

What makes card-making unique?  Everything and nothing at the same time.  Its like this, card-making is an individual design, even when designing a card for a design team.  You are given a sketch and it’s up to you what you want to do with it.  Each card is personal and custom to individual taste. It hold the same meaning as the beauty that is in the eye of the beholder. Play the Stamp Ink Paper sketch challenge here.

Maggie Made Tips:

  • Make it personal.  Many will think that the upside Typset DSP is upside down.  But is it really?  Or am I making a point to the person who the card will be given to?  The red diagonal lines brings attention to the words, “Job Printing”.  So, yes it was purposely placed upside.  Go on make your cards personalized regardless of what anybody thinks. =)
