Pals April 2012 Blog Hop: Babies and Children

Oh, Baby!  It’s time for the Pals Blog Hop!  Today the Stampin’ Pretty Pals are sharing some fabulous cards and projects for babies and children that we think you’ll enjoy!  You’ve probably hopped over from Nakaba Rager at My Stampin’ Blog, I’m stop number 4 on the Pals Hop and I’m glad you hopped in!  I’ll help you “hop along” from blog to blog where you’ll find great ideas for paper projects for babies and children from the Stampin’ Pretty Pals! Should you hop off course, simply click on any of the links in the Pals Hop Line-up below and you’ll be back on track

This card is not one of my ‘orignal’ creations, it has been around for quite awhile, but this is my version of the baby carriage.  I have never used so many punches ever and this card required use of seven different punches, to include my 17 year old’s protractor.  I made two four inch circles and folded them in half leaving space to write two messages in each.  The diaganol plate came in handy too… it’s what I used to score the lines on the hood.

MaggieMade Tip:  Don’t ever get stuck buying tons of different colored rhinestones to match your projects… buy the clear ones and simply use a colored Sharpie to color them in.  In the long run, you save money.

Now hop along for more inspiring ideas from Marian Kay at All Aboard the Crafting Train, stop number 5 on the Babies and Children Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for “hopping” by!

Sizzlits Birthday

My cousin Veva sizzles… so on her birthday she deserved a SIZZLITS Paper Doily.  I took the large sizzlits die and cut the center out.  The card can easily be turned into a Valentine’s Day card by using a Loving Thoughts stamp, such as FOR EVER & ALWAYS, WONDERFUL YOU, or THOUGHTS OF YOU.  Take a look at the Occasions Mini Catalog to check out what you can make.

Happy Stampin’
Maggie
