Pumpkin Anyone?

This month’s My Paper Pumpkin was amazing! I’ve taught two free card classes with them and they are a hit. At first I thought that the kits would be great for beginners who want to experiment with the kit, but I quickly realized that the kits are great for the advanced card maker also. I love them because I can put them together with ease and I send them to my customers as well as give them to family & friends. I can give so many of them away because I order three kits a month. That’s how crazy I am about them.

I couldn’t believe that this kit also came with tiny cards that can also be used with gift cards too. They are so darn cute! Click here to learn more about My Paper Pumpkin.

Not the Typical Beer Cake

Beer Cake Welcome Home

Beer cake anyone? Although I absolutely love the beer cake batter mix sold by Pampered Chef there is someone else in my household that loves liquid beer cake. It’s known to many as liquid courage too, but this household has enough liquid courage, especially since we are a military family…LOL.

As ink is to paper, barley is to beer and since are both low in fat and protein but rich in satisfaction, I made this wonderful welcome home beer cake for the better half when he returned from deployment.

Listed below are the products used to make the sign, but you must know that the straws came from the June My Paper Pumpkin monthly surprise kit. I already knew I was going to make a beer cake and when I received the June kit, I knew right away how I would use them, so I held on to a few straws. They were perfect!

Card Trek… Are You a Fan?

This video was just too cute to pass up! Making a handmade card will NEVER get old… and they are much more valuable because YOU made time to make it.

Cards do not have to be like a foo foo cup of coffee… they can be clean and simple like the one in the video and still make a gigantic impact.  Especially for the person getting the handmade card.

I love your comments:  Here’s a question for you… What kind of card or cards will you make today?  If you’re a Paper Pumpkin Player, I will be announcing a winner for March’s Introductory My Paper Pumpkin on February 28th.

Click on Paper Pumpkin Player link above if you are the least bit curious what it is and to find out how to become one.  Serious inquiries only.  After all, it is just my way of thanking my faithful followers… =)
