Stamp Ink Paper: Elements

Today’s card is a Natural Elements Challenge and what is more natural than venicen?  At least that’s what my husband said when I asked him what he considers a natural element.  LOL

What do you consider a natural element?  Show us this week over at the Stamp Ink Card Challenge #82.

The Details:

  • Dual Colored Flowers.  The easiest ever way to color an image two different colors is with your Stampin’ Write markers.  See video below if you haven’t seen it done.
  • Masking Technique.  To give the image the look as if the deer are standing in front of tall grass, I did the masking technique.  Many know what it is, but basically you stamp the image on a piece of paper (sticky note works great) and the image already stamped on cardstock is covered to protect the image.  You then simple stamp over it.  You can view a video below to see what I’m talking about.

Tulips in the Spring

Flowers Tulips Here’s the third card made with the wonderful Blessed Easter Stamp Set (Occasions Catalog, page 20).  This card is going all the way to France.  I belong to an international card swap group and each month we swap cards all over the country.  I can’t wait to send this off on Monday morning.  I really hope my swapmate loves it as much as I do.Flowers Tulips Unlike the other two cards I made with the Blessed Easter set, I only stamped it once and used Stampin’ Write markers with an Aqua Painter to soften the colors.  However, since I stamped it twice and cut out the tulips so that I may layer them, I did color the tulips with each marker directly on the paper so that the bottom gave off a rich glow.  The pictures just don’t do it any justice.  It’s absolutely goreous!Flowers Tulips

I used a snip bit of the Summer Starfruit Twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack you get for FREE with your purchase of $50 or more during Sale-a-bration!  Purchase the items listed below and you will receive the accessory pack for FREE, but only until March 31st.

My Paper PumpkinWant to admire my card from afar and simply get something cut and ready to put together?  Then get on board with the My Paper Pumpkin Subscription.  It is delivered to your doorstep each month and you control when you don’t want it.

These have become so popular amongt current demonstrators that they are being ordered in duplicate quantities.  I have to admit, I get two each month just for me and the March My Pumpker Pumpkin kit has already become a smash hit amongst current demonstrators.  In my private Pals group, demos are posting requests for anyone wanting to sell their kit because they didn’t order one it in time.

Click HERE to sign up for your kit before the end of the month and I will send you a sample from the March kit as seen below.
