Stamp Ink Paper: Sketch Challenge

Thanks Thanks

Today’s card is for this week’s Stamp Ink Paper sketch challenge and to be 100% honest, I had no clue how the design would turn out.  Normally, I just choose a designer series paper and make everything match.  But with card I took  a scrap piece of whisper white and stamped it with the daisy flowers from Cottage Greeting and let it design itself from there. The flowers looked way to plain and that when I decided to color it in and I really liked the way it looked.

The Details:

  • Teeny Tiny Error.  But did it matter?  Absolutely not!  As a matter of fact, no one would notice if I didn’t write about it.  Wait, maybe I should tell you where it is and leave this right here (LOL).
  • Colored Background.  To keep the daisy’s from looking so plain, I colored in the background with our sponge daubers that I very rarely use.  But, I’m so glad I have a box full of them because like the old credit card commercial, I never stamp without them (LOL).
