Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #10

Condolence

What’s my card style?  A question I’ve asked myself hundreds of times, if not thousands…LoL.  I often wish I had a style, but I just simple do not.  I mean, I’ve convinced myself that I had a style, clean and simple, but I just do not have one.  Well, until I asked my friend Pam.  I write about it below…go on see if you agree with her, pretty please.

SIP 10

Tell me, what does this photo inspire you to do?  Wait, no, don’t tell me, show me!  So, take a look at the photo and create a card of the first thing that popped into your mind.  I can’t wait to see it at Stamp Ink Paper.

What’s My Style?  Whether you think you have one or not, you do.  I’ve answered that question several times (to myself) and I don’t think I was listening…LOL.  I’m indecisive and I should’ve asked someone else before believing myself (HA!).  Note to self: Never believe your own answers.  So, I asked my friend Pam. Her response, “You’re eclectic, just like your house.” She added, “everything goes together, but it’s all different.”  True words spoken, I do a little bit of everything.

MAGGIE MADE TIPS:

  • Window Frame.  Are they really the direct link to our soul?  Stampin’ Up! must’ve been hearing our words…we want windows. So, in the Holiday catalog they’ll give us Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies and I assure you, you are going to love them!
  • Window Image.  I sponged a piece of the new upcoming Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack with Pacific Point ink and then stamped a window sheet with the Thoughts & Prayers tree stamp (just the leaves) and layered the window sheet on top of the vellum stamped side down (to prevent smudging).  The glare in the photo is from my window, I didn’t make any magic, except the card…LOL>
  • Flower Pots.  I’ve got a tiny trick up my sleeve and found the tiny flower-pot here.  I downloaded it, resized it about three times before I cut out a template.  I used Cajun Craze card-stock to cut out the little flower-pot. Cute right?
