Quinceañera with SIP 47

Welcome to another week of Stamp Ink Paper 47, One Element Wonder!  One one element wonder is this very gorgeous die-cut by Gina Marie Designs. Doesn’t it remind you of Audrey Hepburn?  Anyway, I bought this set with a very special young lady in mind, my niece, who turned 15 and in true Mexican fashion she had a Quinceañera last week.  I had also purchased a separate stamp set from another vendor, but it was back-ordered and never received it in time for the party.  However, I must say SHE LOVED IT!

The One Element Wonder used on my card was the die-cut.  I used it three times to put together the main focus of my card.

For the hair clip necklace, and bracelet I die cut the bottom of the dress with some left-over Gold Glimmer Paper.  I love it when left-overs are used up.  For the numbers I used the retired die-cuts and they really do make a big statement on their own without a sentiment.

Maggie Made Hints:

  • No Fuss Embellishments.  Since I had plenty of gold glimmer paper scraps left-over I ran the die a couple times just to make three of the gold glitter butterflies carve-outs to use as a bow, necklace, and bracelet.  I think the micro size were perfect not he basic black paper silhouette.  I did run the die-cut through the Big Shot twice and trimmed the top right at the arm-pit. LOL  You can’t tell I trimmed it with my paper snips either can ya!?
