Pals Paper Arts #131 Sketch Challenge

One of the reasons I participate in sketch challenges is to improve my skills.  I have never been an artist, sort of speak, when it comes to coloring and drawing… so I took the opportunity to practice with this cute bird from the Language of Friendship stamp set.  I discovered that I really need to practice my blending skills.  The perfect place to practice was with the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge #131.  Challenges are an excellant opportunity to practice.  When you participate let me know and I’ll be on the lookout.

Mata-’bout Tip:  Hold on to scraps of paper you have left over after a project.  They come in handy on other projects.  This card had a little too much open space for me, so I took some small scraps I had leftover from a previous project and used them to punch out cute tiny blossoms.  They added an extra dimension and color to the Chocolate Chip paper.
