Ecstatic News for New Starter Kits!

Have you thought of becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, and then you worry about time constraints, pressure of sales, etc?  I know EXACTLY how you feel!  I have a full-time life in the military that requires me to travel often.  I was a crafter for many years and didn’t want the added pressures of sales.  I joined Stampin’ Up! as a hobby stamper and I found a whole new side of me. Within a few months I found myself sharing my crafts telling everyone I run into about paper crafts.  As I write this blog, I am on temporary duty in Hawaii missing my craft room and drawing card layouts on pieces of paper while waiting in line or on the ride to work.  I suppose I’m Mata-bout Paper and I want you to feel at ease when you join my team the same way I did and still do. Below is the incredible special for new demonstrators who sign up for the starter kit during Sale-A-Bration, Jan. 24th thru Mar. 31st.  The amount of product you get is worth joining just for the inital supply!  A great package for hobby stampers.  Yay!

A Blue Hawaiian Hello with Sale-A-Bration

[pinit]The military has  given me the gift of travel.  I’ve been around the world a few times to distant shores and all over the United States.  Places  abroad that would change the way you think, the way you eat,  and definitely appreciate your freedom.  But, the best place I never  get enough of is Hawaii.  I made this card before my trip without  realizing that the colors are a reflection of the beautiful Hawaiian colors.  I have a little over a week to go and will share with you my temporary duty assignment aka TDY adventures.   The crown reminds me of Kamehameha the Great… Hawaiian Islands first King.  Hope you enjoy this Sale-a-Bration sneak peak that starts Jan. 24th.

Beginning on Feb. 15th my virtual stamp club will debut.  Take a look at our catalogs on the right  and browse through the stamps you would love to see.  I will post details on Feb. 4th.  I’m so excited and can’t wait to share it with you.    In the meantime, Aloha  from Hawaii.

Happy Crafting,

A Mata-fied Heart Framelit & Freshly Made Sketch

[pinit]I was invited to a luncheon for a friend who received a promotion at work.  It was only fitting to use the Freshly Made Sketch challenge as a layout.  As a hobby Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, my free time is very limited and it is easier for me to use a sketch challenge to make a card than come up with my own design, which can take an hour or more.  I highly recommend using sketch challenges to develop one’s paper-craft skills (like me) when time is limited.  The envelope was icing on the cake and it was a big hit.  The recipient held on to it and treated it like an extension to the card.  I found it funny because who keeps envelopes?  Do you?

Since we are just around the corner to Valentine’s Day and the Heart Collection framelits are so darn cute, I have been using many hearts lately.  I wanted to add a special touch to the message on the inside of the card and a heart just seemed to complete it.

I love {Freshly Made}, they provide challenges that even a novice stamper can handle.  It gets my imagination going and the sketches are ALWAYS realistic.  Thank you so much for helping me find my nitch.
