A Leap Year Mixed Bunch Birthday

Those of you who follow me know that I’m once again at a temporary duty location missing my craft room.  Knowing I would be gone for several weeks, I made a few cards ahead of time to keep the blog updated with pretty cards for you to see and duplicate.  There are many Leap Year babies that celebrate birthday’s today and I know one of them.  My co-worker turns 8 today! =)  Happy Birthday Ms. Tina.  She deserves this special card because she listens to all of my stamping adventures with a smile.

Mata-bout Tip:  If you are limited on the number of punches you own and you feel like some are over-used, play with them.  Punch out a piece of scrap paper and take out your scissors and start cutting.  You’ll be amazed at how versatile our punches really are.  I took the Blossom punch (125603) and simply cut across the middle to make a quick and easy mat for the sentiment that I punched with the Window Punch (119857).  What punch have you Mata-fied lately?

I’m on the lookout for hobby & business stampers to join my team:  If you are on the fence about joining…you have exactly 31 days left to get your kit at reduced price ($125)…plus you will get designer paper or a digital download every month for the rest of the year….alternate if you’d like too!  Are you worried about quotas or obligations?  No worries… there are NO future obligations (Scouts Honor, cross my heart).  It’s the best time to take advantage of this great opportunity to get the starter kit that contains over $340 worth of products!  FREE paper doesn’t come around often. After you join…make your wish list and place an order before your 45th day for other items you want and get 30% off your order. Don’t let this deal slip away… =)  Send me an email if you have any questions what so ever… if you don’t want to pass up this GREAT opportunity… Join now!

Not So Serious Stampin’ Up! Top Dog

This cute doggie card was made for my nephew for his birthday a week before I traveled over a thousand miles to S. Korea.  My first stop was Seattle and while at the Fish Market I grabbed a much needed Vanilla Latte from the first Starbucks store.  While sippin' on my cup of Joe I saw a beautiful Bouvier des Flandres sheep herding dog and being a dog lover, I remembered this card I put together before leaving for my trip.  I love the simplicity of the stamp because it doesn't require much color.   A simple highlight of the collar and dashing blue eyes give it all the pop it needs to turn it into a cute yet masculine card.

I have received emails with questions about buying cards posted on the blog.  I do not sell cards, but make them to give away as I am a hobby stamper.  However, I always have room for fellow enthusiasts to join my team, Mata-about Paper Club.  Once a member it's up to you if you want to grow your business or simply remain a hobby stamper and get a 20% discount on ALL your supplies.
