Today’s card is brought to you by Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge #251. I made it to give you two things. One, stamping on cardstock other than Whisper White shows dramatic color results and two, a little time to say good-bye…my added segment of yesterday Pals Blog Hop.
This framelit will retire in June and it’s one of my favorites. For some reason it reminds me of the Alamo in Texas. I just might hang on to it, but I’m not 100% sure yet. I guess you’ll find out on June 2nd. That’s the date I gave myself to make up my mind.
These colors are so gorgeous together. They are bright, fun, and feel warm. Summer is almost here in Northern California and I just can’t wait! I’d love for you to do something with these colors and join the fun going on over there.
MAGGIE MADE TIPS: Not in cash, but great crafting recommendations.
- Stamp on more than just Whisper White. Although you may think that the chevrons on the card are green, they’re not! I used Tempting Turquoise on Sahara Sand cardstock and I absolutely LOVE how it completely changed the color. It’s a great way to change up colors when you don’t have it available. Experiment and have fun!
