Oprima La Bandera Española  al Ariba al Lado Derecho Para Leer en Español

My bilingual experience since childhood is quite an eye-opener for me when I  had to translate for my ama (mom) everywhere we went.  She took me everywhere… to the grocery store, bank, doctor’s office, and I loved it!

I’m glad my mom took me along because it made me realize that you don’t always have to say, “my mom said…blah blah blah”.  Proper translations are always in the first person and it’s difficult to master… when you’re only 6 years old… LOL.

Select English Flag on Upper Right Hand Side to Translate

All of my friends and family, including my co-workers… know first hand how crazy I am for Hello Kitty.  I've seen so many Hello Kitty cards that I think I racked my brain for weeks trying to figure out which punches I could use to re-create this beautiful kitty… LoL.

I finally found the cat's meow… with three punches that you may already have.  They are the Owl, 1" Circle, and Word Window punches.  You too can make this sweet popular feline that has never stopped being popular since I was an early teen.

Make sure that the whiskers are in line with the eyes and nose.  I've created a step by step PDF instruction sheet to help you.  I hope it helps you put together your own Hello Kitty.  Please feel free to share with anyone you want.

The next stop is Martie Pollard at The Crafty Bandit, stop number 20 on the Pals Blog Hop!  Thanks for visiting – and I hope to see you next month!

The kissing technique is something I'm sure you have heard about.  If you haven't seen it, click here and take a look at it.  It's easy and fun to put a different spin on some of your stamping.

If you don't want to lose this video, don't worry, you can easily locate it on my "Show Me How" page located on the lower right badge on this page.

Here's a closer look at the 'Kissing Technique".  I absolutely love this stamp set and I can see myself using even more in many more cards to come.  What I love most are the polka dots on it.

Thank you so much for those of you who took the extra designer series paper off my shelf.  It all sold out in less than eight hours and I appreciate it so much.  You will have it soon.  Thank you!

Thank You3

Pals December Blog Hop: Celebrations

We’re so glad you could join us for the final Pals Blog Hop of 2012!  Today the Stampin’ Pretty Pals are excited to celebrate all of our favorite occasions of the year!  And what’s a little celebration without some sparkle?!

You’ve probably hopped over from Nicole Watt at Impressions By Nicole, I’m stop number 20 on the Pals Hop and I’m glad you hopped in!  I’ll help you “hop along” from blog to blog where you’ll find great ideas for Stampin’ Up! products from the Stampin’ Pretty Pals! Should you hop off course, simply click on any of the links in the Pals Hop Line-up below and you’ll be back on track.

I chose to make a Paper Bow with a bit of a sparkle.  To make the bow I used our stunning, no-mess Glimmer Paper in Red and Silver.  To give it a peppermint touch like a candycane, I used a few slivers of Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper.  You too can make this gorgeous handmade bow in just a matter of minutes and you can click here to download the step-by-step instructions.  Remember, it doesn’t have to be Christmas to make a bow.  They work wonders on birthday presents, Valentine’s gifts, and Anniversary’s.

Now hop along for more inspiring ideas from Sherrie Gross at Stampin Sunshine, stop number 21 on the Pals Celebrations Blog Hop!  Thanks for “hopping” by!
