Do I dare say, “I love bow-ties?” LOL…not Origami, but still represents a Dad or Orville Redenbacher.

MAGGIE MADE TIPS:

  • Change it up.  The DSP has a diagonal cut and then cut again on the lower right to offset the stripes.  Look again and you’ll see what I’m talking about.  Why did I do it?  Just to be different.
  • Glue Dots.  The hidden adhesive behind those clear buttons. It’s important to have different types of adhesive in your drawer because they all have a purpose.  Fast Fuse works wonder on ribbon too.  It’s strong and light weight without creating a bulky appearance.

Occasions Catalog Ends This Weekend:  So often I hear these words, “Darn it, I knew I should’ve ordered it!”  Then depending on how bad you want it…you’re gonna pay a little more and I know eBay prices is NOT what you want to pay.  I highly recommend that you take one last look at the 2015 Occasions Catalog and order what you really desire.

Divas Marathon & Project Life with a Paper Sample

Over the weekend I speed walked in the Divas Half Marathon & 5K Run in the San Franciso Bay Area.  Last year I ran the Air Force “Deployed” Maraton and I had the time of my life.  I had never experienced the runner’s high everyone talks about…until then and I loved it!

My BFF had never experienced one either and she made it a goal last year to just do one.  She wrote me while I was deployed and told me I needed to do this with her, so I did.  We fast walked it yesterday along with four other friends and we had such a blast.

My goal now is to run the half next year and I’m going to do it!  So, watch out now because I’m about to start training and burn holes on my running shoes.

Project Life: I was so excited to use my Project Life product since buying it back in early May and this was the perfect project.  In the past I was a hardcore traditional scrapbooker and it took me days if not months to complete just a couple pages.  This system definitely makes it easier and faster to complete a scrapbook page.

I finished this project in one hour and I’m in love with Project Life!  My son wanted to go watch a movie, so I stopped and didn’t finish writing in the dates, but other than that it is ready to go into my Project Life binder.

Personal Tid Bits: If you find yourself short of the accessory pack paper just use your designer series paper to fit into the pockets of the plastic sleeve.  I used a few sheets fromthe Moon Light Designer Series Paper Stacks and it was perfect!

Manly Monday – Pssst…

It’s 2:00 a.m. and I’m laying on a Coleman air mattress and they are NOT paying me to endorse them, but it is so darn comfortable.  I’m visiting my family this week for Spring break and to show you once again that Stampin’ Up! is easy to take with you anywhere… I packed up my Scrapbooking roller bag with my Stampin’ Up! products so I don’t miss out on creating cards while my family members are at work.
