Donut Miss Out on Paper Pumpkin

I read a post the other day on a crafting Facebook page and it said that a customer asked if she could leave her crafting supplies at the demonstrator’s home.  The demonstrator thought it was a strange request, so she asked the lady why she would want to do that.  The customer said she bought all the supplies to make cards she likes, but it seemed too many others make cards that are too much work and I just can’t make them.

Well, my friends, I took to heart what the lady said.  Why?  Because, like the lady, I don’t like making complicated cards either.  Hence, why my cards are often simple and so easy to reproduce by anyone!  It’s all about cut, stamp, adhere and done!

This donut shaped card is from a Paper Pumpkin kit.  They’re easy to put together and you don’t have to ask if you can leave the product at your demonstrator’s home because they come with directions on putting it together and they’re easy to make!

IMG_4989 IMG_4990

This week (Fri., April 17th at 6 pm) my Stamp Class will make these six cards from the Painted Blossoms Designer Series Paper pack. The paper is perfectly designed to use as backgrounds and so easy to make.

If you live in Solano County, you can register to attend the class here.

Supplies Needed to Make Your Own Painted Blossom Cards

Painted Blossoms DSP

How to Make the Cut

  1. Cut 1-1/2″ from the bottom where the stems are.
  2. Cut the sheet vertically at 4″ and 8″.
  3. Cut the 4″ strips horizontally at 5-1/4″.

You will have six 4″ x 5-1/4″ pieces and all you do now is adhere them to the card base (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″). Stamp them and attach the tags and adhere the sequins.

If you prefer to buy the cards already made, you can purchase the set on The Card Shop for $30. You get the cards, plus a decorated container for you to store your cards. [product id=”20151″]
or you can purchase the kit for $23 and all you’ll need to do is put them together. However, you will need to purchase the adhesive and stapler separately.[product id=”20157″]
