I haven’t used the Birthday Basics designer series paper in some time now and I figured I should break out with it because I have some catching up to do with a few birthday cards. I lost track of the dates.

Lesson Learned: Card making has taught me that there are three rules we can follow when we are making cards. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or advanced card maker either. The three rules are:
- Color (use your color coach to help if you are like me with no sense of color-LOL)
- Shape (use any shape – circles, squares, or any framelit)
- Texture (embossing folders are perfect)
