A Gift for You

If you like the look of a well worn antique(ish) feel on a card then the Chalk Talk set is for you (no pun intended).  Recreate the look and feel of a chalkboard with this set.  The coolest thing about this set is that it comes as a bundle.  Check it out here.  Just so you know… when I list the products I buy and use they are the clear set stamps.

I am happy beyond my wildest dreams.  Not only did I have a great day at work… I came home to find out I was a Pals Paper Arts “Pick”.  My best friend is in my Circle of Pals and she attended last weeks convention and she has taken the leap from hobby demonstrator to building her business.

I’m on cloud nine right about now.  Stampin’ Up! is the best hobby that has ever happened to me and I can’t stop smiling.  Please leave a comment and tell me what you like about Stampin’ Up!, making cards, or any other hobby you may have?

 Products Used for Cards:

Chalk Talk Clear Stamp Set
Pool Party card stock
Crushed Curry card stock
Old Olive card stock
Etcetera designer series paper

Thank you so much for visiting me and having a one way chat with me… LoL.  Sometimes I feel like I can hear your remarks as you read.  I once learned about the power of positive thinking and I like to couple it with the Law of Attraction.  I saw myself the other day in Houston at the Leadership conference.

I figured since I didn’t make it to the convention, I should be able to make it to Leadership… LoL.  After all, in a couple days… I’ll be half way done and on my way home… yayyyyyy.

  2. No one can take our dreams away, huh? You keep dreaming and before you know it, you will be home!!! And, you must really be day dreaming as you put ‘card stalk’ instead of card stock’. LOL That’s the first smile that I have had in quite a while. I do know that when I day dream, you can’t count on anything I say or do! =)
One of my fave’s is antique looking paper, buttons, ribbons, lace and so on. Your card today is absolutely gorgeous. I love how you made the front to show a little bit of green paper that is on the inside of the card. Very neat! I really like the etcetera paper too and how and where you placed the ribbon on the card.
Thanks for sharing Maggie. I hope by next week you get the package I sent. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed! Blessings!
